Crayola and McDonald's Launch Global Happy Meal Initiative
Crayola and McDonald's have partnered to launch a global Happy Meal experience featuring space-themed activity kits and toys, available in more than 60 countries through March 2026.
Crayola has announced a collaboration with McDonald's to launch a new Happy Meal experience available in more than 60 countries, including the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Canada. The initiative, which began rolling out recently, will continue through March 2026 while supplies last.
The Happy Meal features a collection of co-branded, space-themed activity kits and toys designed to encourage creative play. This initiative marks the first global partnership between Crayola and McDonald's. The activity kits are intended to provide hands-on creative experiences for children and families.
In addition to the physical kits, the campaign includes an interactive digital component. Children can scan their creations to see them animated in a digital space-themed environment, offering further opportunities for exploration and learning.
The Happy Meal boxes and associated advertising feature illustrations created by children, highlighting the campaign's creative focus. As part of this collaboration, Crayola has also become a supplier of colored pencils for McDonald's, integrating its innovative products into the Happy Meal experience.
The collaboration aims to support parents' interest in providing meaningful play opportunities for their children, extending the creative experience into both physical and digital realms.
