Cousins Maine Lobster to Open Des Moines Food Truck
Cousins Maine Lobster will launch a food truck serving the greater Des Moines area with a grand opening Aug. 22 at 3610 8th St. SW in Altoona, Iowa.
Cousins Maine Lobster will open its Des Moines-area food truck at a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 3610 8th St. SW, Altoona, Iowa.
The food truck will be operated by franchisee Karan Singh and will serve customers across central Iowa at community events, local businesses, breweries and neighborhood gathering places.
Sabin Lomac, a co-founder of Cousins Maine Lobster, and the local team are scheduled to attend the opening event.
The menu will include the Maine Roll, served chilled with mayonnaise; the Connecticut Roll, served warm with butter and lemon; and the Garlic Butter Roll, served warm with garlic butter, Parmesan and seasonings.
Other menu items will include lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, New England clam chowder and whoopie pies.

Cousins Maine Lobster began with its first food truck in 2012. The business operates through food trucks, brick-and-mortar restaurants and an online ordering operation.
