Cousins Maine Lobster is expanding into Georgia with a new food truck serving Savannah and nearby areas. The truck will be operated by franchisees Damon Cole and Mandy Ottesen, who previously launched a Cousins Maine Lobster food truck in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2024.
The Savannah truck will offer menu items including Maine lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, and whoopie pies. The official debut is scheduled for Friday, April 24, with a grand opening event at Service Brewing Co., 574 Indian St., Savannah, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., featuring a ribbon cutting and launch party.
Ottesen has 15 years of experience operating a healthcare franchise, while Cole has worked as a marine engineer for nearly two decades. They plan to continue expanding with additional trucks in Florida and their first in Georgia.
Cousins Maine Lobster operates food trucks and brick-and-mortar locations in various markets and is seeking additional owner-operators interested in operating food trucks or restaurants.
