Cousins Maine Lobster Expands with New Ventura Food Truck
Cousins Maine Lobster has announced the launch of a new food truck in Ventura, California, expanding its presence in Southern California.
Cousins Maine Lobster is expanding its operations in Southern California with the introduction of a new food truck in Ventura. The launch is scheduled for September 27, at 440 N Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, California, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to meet the increasing demand for seafood in the region.
The new Ventura truck will be operated by Karan Singh, who took over the brand's Los Angeles trucks earlier this year. Singh, who also owns Subway franchises, has been involved with Cousins Maine Lobster since May and is now spearheading this latest expansion. The Ventura truck will offer a menu featuring Maine lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, and whoopie pies.
Sabin Lomac, co-founder of Cousins Maine Lobster, will attend the launch event. The company is targeting further expansion in markets with strong demand for fast-casual seafood, including Charleston, South Carolina; the Midwest; and the western United States.
Cousins Maine Lobster operates through food trucks, brick-and-mortar locations, and an online shop. The company is seeking operators interested in launching food trucks, with a business model that enables market entry within three to six months. The company highlights low overhead and labor costs as advantages for potential operators.
The new Ventura location is part of Cousins Maine Lobster's broader strategy to increase its footprint across the United States. The company is looking to bring its offerings to additional regions, including San Diego, California; Reno, Nevada; and Seattle, Washington.
