Cousins Maine Lobster Expands with New Food Truck in Winston-Salem
Cousins Maine Lobster is expanding its presence in North Carolina with the launch of a new food truck in Winston-Salem.

Cousins Maine Lobster has announced the launch of a new food truck in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, marking the company's continued expansion in the state. The new truck, operated by franchisees Savas and Victoria Alkoc, will serve the Winston-Salem area.
The Alkocs, who have been with Cousins Maine Lobster since 2017, currently operate multiple food trucks across several states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Delaware. They also manage a brick-and-mortar location in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Earlier this year, they took ownership of the Raleigh market and committed to further growth within North Carolina.
The new food truck will officially debut on July 3 at Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Company in Winston-Salem. The launch event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The truck will offer a menu featuring Maine lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, and seasonal pink lemonade whoopie pies.
Cousins Maine Lobster is targeting additional markets for expansion, including San Diego, California; Reno, Nevada; and various locations in the Midwest such as St. Louis, Missouri; Des Moines, Iowa; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Nebraska. The company seeks operators interested in launching food trucks, highlighting the flexibility and efficiency of its business model, which allows for a launch timeline of three to six months.
The company's strategy focuses on markets with strong demand for fast-casual seafood, aiming to provide high-quality offerings with low overhead and labor costs.
