CKE Restaurants Names Ewan Davenport As President, International

CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. has announced the appointment of Ewan Davenport as President, International. In his new role, Davenport will be responsible for the international operations and strategic growth of the company's brands, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's. This move is part of CKE's ongoing efforts to expand its global presence and enhance brand performance across international markets.

Ewan Davenport brings extensive experience from the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector to his new position at CKE. His career includes over two decades in various leadership roles, notably with YUM! Brands' Pizza Hut. Here, he served as Managing Director for Global Franchise Markets and for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa regions. Davenport's tenure at YUM! Brands was marked by significant growth and strengthened franchisee relationships in these regions.

Prior to his time at YUM! Brands, Davenport held key financial and commercial leadership positions at SABMiller and Unilever, contributing to his robust background in international market development and operations management.

At CKE Restaurants, Davenport's primary focus will be on continuing the expansion of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's in existing international markets and exploring new opportunities for market entry. His role will encompass driving innovation, operational excellence, and maintaining successful franchisee relationships, which are crucial for sustaining CKE's growth trajectory internationally.
