Chipotle Names Stephanie Perdue Interim Chief Marketing Officer Amid Leadership Changes

Chipotle Mexican Grill has made several executive leadership changes, effective immediately, following the departure of two senior leaders. Ilene Eskenazi, previously Chief Human Resources Officer, has been appointed Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer. Eskenazi succeeds Roger Theodoredis, who has transitioned out of his role as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Theodoredis will remain with the company in an advisory capacity for a limited period to assist with the transition.

Additionally, Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing, has been named Interim Chief Marketing Officer. Perdue replaces Chris Brandt, who has transitioned out of his role as President and Chief Brand Officer. Brandt will also serve in an advisory role during the transition period.

Chipotle stated that it has initiated internal and external searches for a permanent Chief Marketing Officer, with assistance from an executive search firm. The company did not specify a timeline for completing this search.

The leadership changes come as Chipotle reaffirmed its full-year 2025 financial guidance, originally issued in October. The company indicated that further updates will be provided during its fourth-quarter and fiscal-year 2025 earnings call, scheduled for February 3, 2026.

As of September 30, 2025, Chipotle operates more than 3,900 restaurants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Middle East. The company employs over 130,000 people.

No additional changes to Chipotle’s strategic plan or operations were announced in connection with the leadership transitions.
