Chicken Salad Chick will open a new location in Dalton, Georgia, on September 30. The restaurant is situated at 324 Northgate Drive and will be operated by Lanier and Rod McLeod of RLM Restaurant Group, along with partners Brett Brandenburg and Amy Feehery. This opening marks the sixth location for the McLeods, who have previously opened Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Warner Robins, Newnan, Carrollton, Macon, and Milledgeville.
The Dalton location will offer a variety of dining options, including in-restaurant dining, outdoor patio dining, drive-thru service, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering services. The restaurant will operate from Monday to Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 guests in line on September 30 will receive a complimentary year of chicken salad. Additional promotions will be held throughout the opening week, including giveaways of tote bags, tumblers, coolers, and future meal vouchers to the first 50 guests who make specific purchases each day.
The Dalton restaurant's opening is part of Chicken Salad Chick's broader strategy to expand its presence across Georgia. The brand currently operates over 310 locations across 22 states. The McLeods have been instrumental in the brand's growth within Georgia, leveraging their experience from previous openings to establish the Dalton location.
In addition to its business operations, the Dalton team will engage in community support activities. As part of the pre-opening events, the restaurant will raise funds for City of Refuge Dalton, a local nonprofit organization. This initiative aligns with Chicken Salad Chick's broader community-focused efforts, which include supporting CURE Childhood Cancer and local food banks through the CSC Foundation.
