Chicken Salad Chick to Open First Minnesota Location in Apple Valley
Chicken Salad Chick announced the opening of its first Minnesota restaurant in Apple Valley, with a grand opening scheduled for July 28.
Chicken Salad Chick will open its first Minnesota restaurant at 14658 Cedar Avenue in Cedar Marketplace, Apple Valley, expanding the brand’s footprint to 24 states. The grand opening is set for Tuesday, July 28, with the first 100 guests in line receiving free chicken salad for a year. The first guest at 10:30 a.m. will receive one free large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for a year, and the next 99 guests will receive one free large Quick Chick per month for a year. The first 50 guests at 5 p.m. will receive a free Chick Stadium Cup.
The Apple Valley location is owned and operated by Mike and Mandi Boogerd. The restaurant will offer in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering.
As part of pre-opening activities, the restaurant will raise funds for Messiah Community Food Shelf, an emergency food distribution center serving Dakota County residents and operated by Messiah Lutheran Church and 360 Communities.
Chicken Salad Chick of Apple Valley will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Additional information about giveaways and specials is available on the Apple Valley restaurant's Facebook page.
