Growth in 2025 was driven by both new and existing franchise partners. Seventeen existing franchisees expanded into additional territories, and 12 new franchise partners joined the system. The company reported ranking in the 94th percentile in awarding an average of four units per deal.
Geographic expansion accelerated in 2025, with Chicken Salad Chick opening five new states for development: Arizona, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Utah. The company also opened its first restaurants in Kansas and Maryland. Florida and Texas had the most new locations, with nine and seven openings, respectively. Kansas, Maryland, and New Mexico were identified as fast-growing markets.
The company stated that its growth strategy focused on partnering with experienced, multi-unit operators.
