Chicken Salad Chick Reports Record Franchise Growth With Nearly 100 New Deals in 2025

Chicken Salad Chick announced it awarded nearly 100 new franchise restaurant deals in 2025, representing the highest number of new deals signed and restaurant openings in the company's history. The company opened 42 locations across 13 states during the year.

Growth in 2025 was driven by both new and existing franchise partners. Seventeen existing franchisees expanded into additional territories, and 12 new franchise partners joined the system. The company reported ranking in the 94th percentile in awarding an average of four units per deal.

Geographic expansion accelerated in 2025, with Chicken Salad Chick opening five new states for development: Arizona, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Utah. The company also opened its first restaurants in Kansas and Maryland. Florida and Texas had the most new locations, with nine and seven openings, respectively. Kansas, Maryland, and New Mexico were identified as fast-growing markets.

The company stated that its growth strategy focused on partnering with experienced, multi-unit operators. Recent franchise signings were reported in the Midwest, Mountain West, and Western U.S. Chicken Salad Chick indicated plans to enter new regions, including the Northeast and select Midwest markets, in 2026.

Industry recognition in 2025 included being named a Top Food Franchise, Most Profitable Franchise, Top Culture Franchise, and one of the Top Franchises for Women. The company was also named to QSR magazine's Best Franchise Deals for four consecutive years, ranked #3 in Fast Casual's Top 100 Movers & Shakers, and ranked 158th in Franchise Times' Top 400 Ranking for 2025.

In the first half of 2025, Chicken Salad Chick held multiple grand openings across the country. The company reported that dozens of additional locations are in development.
