Chicken Salad Chick Opens New Location in Glen Ellyn

Chicken Salad Chick has announced the opening of its new restaurant in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, located at 293 Roosevelt Road. The restaurant began operations on November 18, as part of the company's ongoing expansion in the Chicagoland area.

The Glen Ellyn location is operated by franchisees Kim and Garrett Seaman, who also own the Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Batavia. The Seamans aim to strengthen the brand's presence in the Chicago suburbs through this new establishment.

The restaurant offers a variety of services, including in-restaurant dining, drive-thru, curbside pickup, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options. The menu features a range of chicken salad flavors, side salads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts.

During the opening week, several promotional events were scheduled. On the first day, the first 100 guests received complimentary chicken salad offers for a period of one year. Additional giveaways included engraved tumblers, coolers, tote bags, and future meal discounts for early customers on subsequent days.

The Glen Ellyn restaurant operates from Monday to Saturday, between 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The opening is part of Chicken Salad Chick's strategy to expand its footprint in the region, leveraging the experience of local franchisees to build community ties.

As part of its community engagement efforts, the restaurant organized pre-opening events to raise funds for Phil's Friends, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. This aligns with Chicken Salad Chick's broader initiative to support local causes and food banks through its CSC Foundation.
