Chicken Salad Chick Opens First Lexington Location in Hamburg Area
Chicken Salad Chick has opened its first restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky, located in the Hamburg area, featuring a drive-thru service. The opening event is scheduled for October 21.
Chicken Salad Chick has announced the opening of its first restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky, at 1956 Bryant Road in the Hamburg area. The new location is set to open on October 21 and will include a drive-thru service, marking the brand's expansion into one of Lexington's prominent shopping and dining districts.
The opening event will feature promotions, including a giveaway of free chicken salad for a year to the first 100 guests. The first guest in line at 10 a.m. will receive a large Quick Chick of chicken salad each week for a year, while the next 99 guests will receive a large Quick Chick each month for a year. Additional promotions will occur throughout the week, offering various merchandise to early customers.
The Lexington location is operated by Vickie Tranter, who also owns a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Nicholasville, Kentucky, which opened in 2018. The Nicholasville location was the first in the state, and the new Hamburg restaurant expands the brand's presence in the Lexington area. The Hamburg location aims to serve the local community with dine-in, drive-thru, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.
Chicken Salad Chick offers a menu featuring a variety of chicken salad flavors, side salads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts. The new restaurant will operate Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to its business operations, the restaurant will engage in community activities, including fundraising for local organizations. As part of its pre-opening events, Chicken Salad Chick of Lexington will raise funds for the Lexington Dream Factory, a non-profit organization supporting children with critical or chronic illnesses.
The opening of the Hamburg location is part of Chicken Salad Chick's broader strategy to expand its footprint in Kentucky and beyond. The brand continues to grow, with more than 315 restaurants across 22 states.
