Chicken Salad Chick Expands in Oklahoma with New Locations in Del City and Norman
Chicken Salad Chick is set to open two new locations in Del City and Norman, Oklahoma, in October as part of its ongoing expansion in the state.
Chicken Salad Chick will open two new restaurants in Oklahoma this October, further expanding its presence in the state. The Del City location, situated at 5550 Tinker Diagonal St., is scheduled to open on October 7, while the Norman location at 2065 24th Ave. NW will open on October 21. These openings are part of a broader growth strategy led by franchisee Troy Morrison, who operates multiple locations across several states.
Morrison, through his franchise group, Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments, currently manages over 100 Taco Bell and Wingstop locations nationwide, as well as 21 Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Indiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The Del City and Norman openings mark his fourth and fifth Chicken Salad Chick locations launched this year, following new openings in Pflugerville and Austin, Texas. Morrison also holds development rights for 11 additional restaurants in the greater Austin area and has recently expanded into Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Another location is planned for Wichita, Kansas, before the end of the year.
The new restaurants will offer a variety of dining options, including in-restaurant dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering services. The Del City location will feature a drive-thru and an outdoor patio seating area. Both locations will operate from Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In conjunction with the openings, Chicken Salad Chick will host several promotional events. The first 100 guests in line at each location on opening day will receive free chicken salad for a year. Additional promotions include giveaways of tumblers, tote bags, coolers, and meals to early customers on subsequent days.
The expansion into Del City and Norman is part of Chicken Salad Chick's strategy to increase its presence in Oklahoma. The Norman location, near the University of Oklahoma, aims to attract students and local residents.
Chicken Salad Chick's expansion efforts are supported by the CSC Foundation, which focuses on community engagement and charitable activities. As part of the pre-opening events, the restaurants will raise funds for The Toby Keith Foundation, which supports children battling cancer.
