Chicken Salad Chick awarded 52 new franchise restaurants in the first quarter, marking the highest quarterly franchise development in the company’s history. This represents a nearly 50% increase compared to the 35 deals awarded in the first quarter of the previous year.
Growth during the quarter was driven by both new and existing operators, with seven new franchise groups joining the system and two existing franchisees expanding through multi-unit agreements. Chicken Salad Chick entered several new markets, including Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Upstate New York.
The company held its annual conference in Atlanta, where franchise partners and leadership gathered for strategic alignment, learning sessions, and systemwide collaboration under the theme "Exceed Expectations."
Chicken Salad Chick has over 300 locations in its development pipeline and continues to see rising interest from experienced operators. In 2025, the company awarded nearly 100 new restaurant locations and opened 42 locations across 14 states.
