Chicken Salad Chick Announces Northeast Development Agreements

Chicken Salad Chick’s upstate New York agreement calls for 25 restaurants in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the Upper Hudson Valley. The agreement is the company’s largest signed development agreement.

In Pennsylvania, Amanda and Ernest Greenford recently opened their first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Allentown’s Lehigh Valley. Amanda Greenford has worked in hospitality management, and Ernest Greenford is a retired U.S. Army Military Intelligence pilot.

Amanda Furiato is preparing to open a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Furiato has experience in human resources and franchise business consulting and is a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Jacob and Sabrina Longley are developing their first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in South Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jacob Longley served as a U.S. Marine Corps naval aviator, and Sabrina Longley has hospitality management experience.

In West Virginia, Tammy Hannah and her husband, Dr. Rancie Hannah, are expanding Chicken Salad Chick’s presence in Barboursville. Tammy Hannah previously worked in education and pharmaceutical sales. Dr. Rancie Hannah has experience in practice management and community service.

A Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia, is under construction. Emily and Michael Strickland are developing the location. Their daughter, Leah, introduced the family to Chicken Salad Chick, and the family established a foundation in her honor that awards scholarships to high school seniors.

Territories remain available in New Jersey, Long Island, New York, and central Pennsylvania.

In 2025, Chicken Salad Chick awarded nearly 100 new franchise restaurant deals and opened 42 locations across 14 states. The company has more than 300 locations in its development pipeline.

Chicken Salad Chick reported more than 345 restaurants across 26 states.
