Carl Bachmann Appointed As Riko's Pizza's New President and COO

Riko's Pizza has announced the appointment of restaurant industry veteran Carl Bachmann as its new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 20, 2025.

Bachmann brings over 30 years of industry leadership experience, having previously held CEO and other key roles at BurgerFi International, Smashburger, Ruby Tuesdays, and Bertucci's. His appointment signifies the next growth phase for Riko's Pizza following significant achievements in 2024.

In his new role, Bachmann will oversee the company's operations and growth strategy, focusing on scaling initiatives and leveraging insights to connect with Riko's customer base. He will also lead Riko's franchisee development and success programs, helping to build Riko into a national brand while optimizing operational standards and corporate culture.

Riko's Pizza's founder and CEO, Rico Imbrogno, expressed his excitement about Bachmann's appointment. He highlighted his extensive restaurant and franchise sector experience and proven success in growing brands. Imbrogno believes that Bachmann's leadership will be crucial in driving the company's next strategic growth stage.

Before joining Riko's, Bachmann served as the CEO of BurgerFi International, where he led a turnaround strategy, launched a franchise development program for Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, and led the accelerated growth of BurgerFi.

Riko's Pizza has also announced a few more changes in its C-suite. Luigi Cardillo, the company's long-time head of operations, finance, and technology, has been named Chief Financial & Technology Officer. Robert Furnari, the company's former CFO, has transitioned to a new role as Chief Administrative Officer. Dawn Imbrogno, who has overseen the company's human resources and payroll since its inception, has been appointed the Company's Chief Human Resources Officer.
