The deal was made with a seasoned team of restaurant operators and signifies the restaurant's first venture into Europe. The inaugural Captain D's restaurant in the UK is set to open in London in 2025.
This move is the latest in the restaurant's international expansion strategy, following the recent news of its expansion in Toronto, Canada. The company aims to become a global brand while ensuring its franchisees receive the necessary support and structure for sustained success.
Phil Greifeld, CEO of Captain D's, expressed his excitement about bringing the restaurant's renowned seafood offerings to the UK. He stated that this is just the beginning of the company's expansion plan, aiming to spread Captain D's quality seafood and hospitality worldwide.

Captain D's operates more than 530 restaurants across 23 states, making it a prominent player in the fast-casual seafood sector. As part of its international expansion, the company seeks master franchisees and multi-unit operators, focusing on regions such as Canada, Central and Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia.
