Captain D's Eyes International Expansion, Set to Launch First UK Outlet

Captain D's, a leading fast-casual seafood restaurant from the United States, is poised to make its European debut. The seafood giant has partnered with CD's Holdings, a group with a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry, to introduce its signature seafood offerings in the UK and other European countries.

The partnership has resulted in a 20-unit master franchise agreement for the United Kingdom, marking Captain D's initial venture into Europe. The first location is set to open in Kent in August 2025, with subsequent establishments planned in Sussex and Hampshire.

Naveed Chattha, Operations Director of CDs Holdings, expressed the group's enthusiasm for bringing Captain D's to the UK market. Commenting on the large fish and chips market in the country, Chattha noted that no brand has yet applied discipline, standards, and quality to the level that Captain D's does.

Captain D's aims to bring its unique flavor to the local fish and chips market while providing international franchisees with the structure and support needed for success in their local markets. In its initial phase, CD's Holdings will open the first locations around London, with the brand currently scouting for more multi-unit franchisees to open additional locations in the UK.
