Bob Baker Joins Red Lobster As New CFO
Baker previously served as CFO for Checkers & Rally's and Benihana.
Red Lobster has announced that Bob Baker will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Baker will report directly to Red Lobster CEO, Damola Adamolekun, and be part of the executive leadership team.
Adamolekun expressed confidence in Baker's financial expertise and operational knowledge, noting his experience across different restaurant categories. He believes Baker's collaborative approach and extensive industry experience will be essential for Red Lobster's long-term growth.
Baker has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having held leadership positions in major restaurant brands. He previously served as CFO for Checkers & Rally's and Benihana. Baker was also the President and CFO of Cafe Rio Mexican Grill, where he played a key role in the brand's expansion from six to over 70 locations. His career includes a 16-year tenure at YUM! Brands, where he gained expertise in Finance, Operations, M&A, and Accounting.
Baker holds a Finance degree from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
