Azzurri Group to Develop 180 Dave's Hot Chicken Locations Across Europe

Dave's Hot Chicken has announced a development agreement with Azzurri Group to open 180 restaurants across Europe. The agreement grants Azzurri Group exclusive rights to expand the brand in 10 countries, including France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey. The expansion will utilize a joint venture partnership model, collaborating with local operators in each market.

The agreement follows the successful launch of Dave's Hot Chicken in the UK, where the brand opened its first location on Shaftesbury Avenue in London's West End in late 2024. Additional openings followed the UK debut in Birmingham and Manchester, which also reported strong performance.

Azzurri Group, a UK-based hospitality operator, will lead the development efforts. The group operates over 225 restaurants and has experience in managing scalable brands. This partnership marks a significant step in Dave's Hot Chicken's international growth strategy, aiming to leverage Azzurri Group's operational expertise and local market knowledge.

Dave's Hot Chicken, known for its Nashville-style hot chicken offerings, began as a pop-up in Los Angeles in 2017. The brand has since expanded its presence in the U.S. and other regions, with plans to open over 70 locations this year. The European expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase the brand's global footprint.
