Automated Pizzeria PizzaForno to Open 40 New Units in Michigan

PizzaForno, a North American automated pizzeria, has announced a 40-unit expansion in Michigan. This includes recently opening five new locations in Clarkston, Caledonia, Flint, and Troy. Two of these locations are at the Amazon Distribution Center in Grand Rapids.

The opening of PizzaForno units at the Amazon Distribution Center signifies a significant step forward in combining technology with convenient dining. By offering high-quality pizzas 24/7, PizzaForno aims to improve the dining experience for workers who work long hours.

PizzaForno's expansion results from a development deal with Forno Brothers LLC. The plan is to open 10 more units in 2025, with the rest slated for 2026. The venture is led by couples Jason and Monika Lowder and Dan and Shay Russell.

Jason Lowder, a former VP at Marco's Pizza and a successful franchisee, serves as the Master Licensee of Michigan and Chief Marketing Officer of PizzaForno. He strongly believes in PizzaForno's potential and its ability to revolutionize the pizza experience, particularly in providing convenient and quality food options in Michigan.

PizzaForno plans to have 1,000 operating units by 2027. The brand is focusing on expanding into campuses and other unconventional locations, leveraging its innovative technology to serve various markets.

PizzaForno's pizzas are accessible 24/7 via digital screens and through the PizzaForno app, which allows users to check inventory, place orders, and reserve pizzas for pick-up. This provides a seamless ordering experience for customers.
