Automated Pizzeria Machines Introduced at Los Angeles Area Colleges

PizzaForno has initiated its expansion into Southern California by installing automated pizza vending machines at several college campuses. The company has begun operations at LA City College and Rio Hondo College, with additional machines scheduled for installation at Long Beach State University.

The rollout at LA City College marks the company's entry into the Los Angeles area. At Rio Hondo College, one machine is already operational at the police shooting academy range, with another set to be installed on the main campus by the end of July. Long Beach State University will see two machines installed near the dormitories and centrally on campus by early August.

The expansion aims to provide students with 24/7 access to pizza, addressing the demand for late-night food options on campus. According to PizzaForno, a significant portion of pizza sales occurs between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., indicating a strong demand for food during late hours.

PizzaForno offers a variety of pizza options, including Meat Lovers, Pepperoni, Cheese, Vegetarian, Barbecue, and Breakfast Pizza. The company also features a rotating Pizza of the Month, offering limited-time flavors.

In addition to providing food services, PizzaForno has launched a student ambassador program. This initiative offers students the opportunity to gain marketing experience and earn income while studying. Students interested in participating can sign up through the company's website.

The introduction of these vending machines is part of PizzaForno's broader strategy to expand its presence on college campuses across Southern California. The company plans to continue this expansion, aiming for multiple installations at each campus to meet student demand.

PizzaForno's machines are strategically placed to maximize accessibility for students. At LA City College, the machine is located in front of the Communications building in the northwest quad. At Rio Hondo College, the second machine will be accessible on the main campus starting July 31. At Long Beach State University, installations are planned near student dormitories and in the central campus area by August 7.
