Texas De Brazil Opens First Missouri Location in Saint Louis Galleria

Texas de Brazil

Texas de Brazil Churrascaria opens its first Missouri location tonight, introducing its authentic churrasco and rodizio-style dining at the Saint Louis Galleria in the inner-ring suburb of Richmond Heights. The family-owned Brazilian-American steakhouse brand now has 57 restaurant locations in 20 states and seven countries worldwide.

"We're very happy to welcome guests to our new location in the bustling Saint Louis Galleria and the community of Richmond Heights," says Salim Asrawi, Chief Operating Officer for the Brazilian-American steakhouse brand. "We look forward to treating visitors and locals alike to the authentic Brazilian churrasco and genuine service we are dedicated to providing every day," he adds.

The Brazilian-American steakhouse is recognized for its unique blend of Brazilian culture and fare complemented by the generous hospitality of Texas. The new 6,500 square-foot restaurant accommodates over 200 guests in an inviting environment that features an expansive salad area, an open grill kitchen, a feature table, wine cellar, an intimate lounge, and a private dining room for up to 35 guests.

Guests of Texas de Brazil are treated to a colorful, upscale dining experience and engaging service. Inside the lively restaurant, guests begin dinner with a visit to an enticing salad area that helps make this a steakhouse even vegetarians love. The fresh variety includes gourmet artisan breads, imported cheeses, fresh buffalo mozzarella, steamed asparagus with strawberry sauce, Brazilian hearts of palm, grilled Portobello mushrooms, Greek olives, shrimp salad, sautéed mushrooms, herbed sweet onions, feijoada (black beans), jasmine rice, soup du jour and more.

Renowned for its rodizio-style dining, guests are also treated to a continuous dining experience that showcases freshly-grilled meats on skewers carved tableside by costumed gauchos. At all Texas de Brazils, gauchos use the time-honored methods of grilling meats over charcoal, resulting in savory aroma and exceptional flavor. Selections range from succulent Brazilian picanha (sirloin), lamb chops, leg of lamb, filet mignon, chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, and Parmesan-crusted pork loin, to Brazilian sausages and more

A two-sided disc in red and green is available at each seat and allows each guest to pace the meat service, with green indicating to the gauchos that servings are welcome while red indicates a break is needed. This style of service helps make the dining experience fit into a tight schedule or a more leisurely meal with friends, family, and business associates.

An impressive wine collection offers perfect pairings. From award-winning labels from the world's top wineries to Texasde Brazil's exclusive private-label varietals bottled by Santa Rita Vineyards in Chile, guests will find approachable and intriguing wines to complement their meal. Signature cocktails including the traditional Brazilian Caipirinha and an array of premium spirits are also available. Tempting desserts are served a la carte for those with a sweet tooth.
