Chicken Salad Chick announced today it will be expanding in South Carolina with its first location in Easley. Located at 5709 Calhoun Memorial Highway, the new restaurant will open September 27th and will mark the state's 8th location. This new restaurant is owned and operated by long-time franchisee team Michelle Singleton and Julie Beville of Sing Bev Hospitality, LLC and will be the 73rd restaurant for Chicken Salad Chick.
During grand opening week, guests will enjoy southern hospitality through giveaway and specials at the new Chicken Salad Chick restaurant:
- Wednesday, September 27 – Free Chicken Salad for a Year – The first guest will win one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year; the next 99 guests receive a large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month for a year.*
- Thursday, September 28 – Thirsty Thursday – The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Special will receive a free large drink and Chick Coozie.
- Friday, September 29 – Free Upgrade Friday –The first 100 guests will receive a free upgrade to a Chick Trio!
- Saturday, September 30 – The first 100 guests to purchase two large Quick Chicks will receive a free large Chick Cooler.
Michelle Singleton and Julie Beville both started their careers in sales and marketing before becoming stay-at-home moms. Singleton had been dining at Chicken Salad Chick for years when it came to her attention that there was an opportunity to become a franchise owner. After partnering with her friend, Beville, and meeting with founders, Kevin and Stacy Brown, the pair established Sing Bev Hospitality, LLC in 2013 with the goal of bringing the unique Chicken Salad experience to the Carolinas.
"Julie and I opened our first Chicken Salad Chick in South Carolina back in August of 2013 and since then, our love for the concept has grown exponentially," said Singleton, Chicken Salad Chick franchisee. "Every time a customer walks in and we see their face light up, it's a direct reflection of how we feel about operating this incredible brand. We are excited to continue providing quality meals to the residents of South Carolina and are determined to make them feel like they never left momma's kitchen."
Sing Bev Hospitality currently operates locations in key markets throughout North and South Carolina, including cities such as Greenville, Asheville, Columbia, Lexington, and Summerville, S.C. and Charlotte and Greensboro, N.C.
The Chicken Salad Chick concept, born in Auburn, Ala., was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew; the company now has more than 70 restaurants across the Southeast.
Chicken Salad Chick in Easley will be open Monday – Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
