Salt Lake City's Top Culinary Leaders to Teach at The Art of Catering Food 2015

Catersource and the International Caterers Association (ICA) highlight a handful of featured culinary classes at the upcoming Art of Catering Food event. Inspired by the growing foodie scene in this year's host city, Salt Lake City, the education program features exciting hands-on sessions taught by some of the most talented catering leaders in the local market. The Art of Catering Food 2015 takes place August 10-12 at the University of Utah's Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT. 

Art of Catering LogoThe Art of Catering Food presents a full range of exciting classes to teach chefs and catering staff new techniques, inspire new menu ideas, and improve their kitchens overall. Industry leaders from across the country will share their success stories and tips for a winning catering business. Held in a new culinary hotspot each year, The Art of Catering Food celebrates the local culture and flavors of each city it visits. This year's program features some of the catering masterminds behind Utah Valley's distinctive cuisine and hospitality.

Culinary Crafts (Salt Lake City, UT) – The Culinary-driven Kitchen
Can you have too many chefs in the kitchen? Not at Culinary Crafts, where five talented chefs are a key ingredient to the Culinary Crafts' recipe for success. Get insight into how they work together to organize more than 750 events each year, how they develop new and creative menus, and how they motivate staff to do their best every day.

As the 2016 summer Olympic Games approach, ethnic food trends will include the churrascos, feijoadas, and caipirinhas from Brazil. Cuisine Unlimited will be the producer and food service provider for the first ever U.S. Welcome Pavilion at the Olympic Games. Utah Valley University Culinary Arts Institute (Orem, UT) – WOW Presentations for Plating and Profit
Watch and learn as Chef Peter teaches how to turn the ordinary into extraordinary for your guests and for your bottom line. In this dual concept session you will learn how to apply competition style plating techniques to your everyday catered menus and how to take lower cost ingredients and transform them into quality, high profit catering menus.
