The seventh annual Restaurant Executive Summit, produced by magazine, will be held September 14-16, 2011, at The Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. 100 senior-level restaurant executives from corporate management, as well as from technology, operations, finance and marketing functions, will gather for two days of solution-focused educational sessions and valuable networking opportunities.

Structured as a relaxed and intimate conference, not a hectic convention, the Restaurant Executive Summit provides ample opportunities to connect with Summit speakers before and after sessions, as well as during networking breaks and meals. Peer-to-peer collaboration and networking with the hospitality industry's leading technology solution providers offer additional value to attendees.

The educational sessions at the Summit, all focused around the theme, "Setting the Table for Growth," will help executives identify priority initiatives and opportunities for profitable business growth in 2011 and beyond. The speakers -- senior-level restaurant executives and trends analysts -- will share ideas for improving operations through technology, while also capturing "always-on," mobile-enabled consumers in new and innovative ways. Specific topics include "Maintaining a Competitive Edge," "Social & Mobile Marketing," "The Top 5 Places for Outsourcing Success in Restaurants," "Vendor Negotiation & Buying Strategies," "Top Strategic Technologies for 2012," "Cost Managing Your Supply Chain" and "Legislation & Employees."

Hospitality Technology's Editor-in-Chief Abigail A. Lorden states, "One of the key benefits of this Summit is the opportunity for key decision-makers within a restaurant company to share strategies and exchange ideas outside of departmental silos, with the collective goal of staying in front of industry trends, preserving financial health and positioning their companies for growth." As the CFO of Macayo Restaurants LLC put it, "If you want to talk to the players who can bring you solutions, this is a must conference."
