Franchise Business Review Launches Industry-Wide Study to Examine Satisfaction Levels of Franchise Owners
In-Depth Study of Franchisee Satisfaction Will Identify North American Franchise Companies With the Highest Franchise Owner Approval Ratings
Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm, announced today the launch of an industry-wide study of franchise owners to measure the overall satisfaction levels of franchisees across the country. The robust project, entitled Franchise 50 - 2006 Franchisee Satisfaction Awards(TM), will help identify the leading franchise companies in the industry with the highest level of owner satisfaction and assist prospective franchise buyers in making better-informed investment decisions.
The Franchise 50(TM) survey will ask franchise owners 20 questions related to their franchise ownership experience. The survey questions cover franchisee training and support, system quality issues, franchisor relationship, financial opportunity and overall satisfaction. Additionally, franchisees will complete demographic and lifestyle questions, to give a 360-degree view of their franchise ownership experience.
"Researching a franchise opportunity is often an overwhelming task for many prospective franchise buyers," said Eric Stites, Founder and President of Franchise Business Review. "There is so much misinformation in the marketplace. Judging the satisfaction level of current franchise owners is the most critical factor to consider before making an investment and it is often difficult to get feedback from franchise owners due to their busy schedules. Franchise Business Review's services and our Franchise 50 survey are designed to simplify that process for buyers, helping them to discover the top franchise investments in today's marketplace."
Franchise Business Review's Franchise 50(TM) will survey franchise owners from several hundred franchise companies operating in both the U.S. and Canada. The study is open to all franchise companies with 10 or more franchise owners and there is no cost to register.
"We are excited to be a part of the Franchise 50 launch and helping Franchise Business Review drive even higher satisfaction levels across the franchising industry," said Jeff Bevis, VP of Franchise Development for Comfort Keepers, a participating franchise company focusing on assisted living solutions. "The Franchise 50 - Franchisee Satisfaction Survey process is a great approach to set owner satisfaction benchmarks for all franchise companies. We are looking forward to the results."
Franchise Business Review will be presenting awards to the 50 highest-scoring companies, as well as 25 "Best-in-Category" awards and the top designation of "Franchisor of the Year" to the highest-rated company. The award-winning companies will be announced in February at the annual International Franchise Association Convention in Palm Springs, CA. The full results of the Franchise Business Review survey will be released in March and available online at http://www.franchise50.com.
