Del Taco Adds Two Directors to the Marketing Department
Tom Meyer Named Director of Marketing and Shannon Keough Named Director of Research and Development
Del Taco, the nation's second-largest Mexican quick-serve chain, announced the addition of two directors to the marketing department. Tom Meyer has been named director of marketing and Shannon Keough has been named director of research and development.
"At Del Taco we're constantly seeking marketing and menu innovations that will thrill our customers," said Joe Senger, Del Taco's vice president of marketing. "Tom Meyer and Shannon Keough are the right people with the right skills to contribute to Del Taco's strategic plans."
Meyer brings more than 17 years of marketing experience to his position at Del Taco and is responsible for regional promotions and advertising as well as local store marketing for all company and franchise restaurants. Meyer will also head up Del Taco's Internet and youth branding programs. Previously he held marketing positions with Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Coldwell Banker Real Estate and Carl's Jr. Restaurants. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from San Diego State University.
With 13 years of experience in product development, Keough will be responsible for developing, researching and implementing new product concepts and menu innovations. Before joining Del Taco, Keough was a senior food technologist with Carl Karcher Restaurants including the Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Green Burrito and La Salsa brands. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics and food administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Del Taco is a privately held company that operates or franchises more than 445 Mexican quick-service restaurant locations throughout the United States.
