McDonald's Ad Pulled From Chinese TV After Complaints
A McDonald's television ad that showed a Chinese man begging has been taken off the air in China following complaints, official media and television stations said Thursday.
McDonald's Corp. is the latest of several multinational companies whose advertising has run afoul of Chinese national pride.
The fast-food chain's ad was pulled earlier this month from stations in Shanghai and at least three other major cities, the state-run newspaper Shanghai Daily and other newspapers reported.
