Gregory Barber Joins Mrs. Fields Famous Brands as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development

Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, LLC said today that Gregory K. Barber has joined the company as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development.

Barber comes to Mrs. Fields Famous Brands from NCH Corporation in Dallas, where he was Director of Corporate Strategy. Prior to that, Barber served as a consultant and case team leader with Bain & Company in Chicago, where he developed successful growth and business development strategies for clients in a variety of different industries.

"Greg's insights and experience will be of great benefit to the company and we're delighted to have him on board," said Mrs. Fields Famous Brands President and CEO, Steve Russo. "He will serve as a key resource within the company as we identify and evaluate opportunities for growth and increased profitability."

Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, based in Salt Lake City, is one of the largest franchisors in the premium snack food industry, featuring Mrs. Fields, Great American Cookies, TCBY, Pretzel Time and Pretzelmaker as the company's core brands, with approximately 325 locations internationally and 2,300 locations in the United States.

Barber received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Wheaton College and has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
