Famous Dave's Enters Development Agreement for Nine New Restaurants in Northeastern U.S.
President and CEO David Goronkin announced today that New England Barbecue Ventures, LLC, has purchased the right to franchise nine Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que restaurants in Connecticut (other than Fairfield County), Maine, Western Massachusetts and Vermont. The new Famous Dave's are expected to open over the next six years.
New England Barbecue Ventures is owned by Joe Cloutier and is based in Rockport, Maine. Mr. Cloutier currently owns 15 Denny's restaurants in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
