Famous Dave's 100th Restaurant Opens in Mays Landing, New Jersey
FAMOUS DAVE'S OF AMERICA, INC. (Nasdaq:DAVE) President and CEO David Goronkin announced today that the newest Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que® opened on Monday, September 13, 2004 in Mays Landing, New Jersey at 4215 Black Horse Pike.
The Mays Landing restaurant is Famous Dave's 100th location.
The Mays Landing Famous Dave's is owned by franchisee North Country BBQ Ventures, Inc. Mays Landing is the fifth Famous Dave's restaurant in New Jersey, all of which are owned by North Country BBQ. North Country BBQ is headquartered in New York, New York.
"Celebrating the opening of the 100th Famous Dave's restaurant and our 10th anniversary in the same year signifies two incredible milestones in the restaurant industry," says David Goronkin, President and CEO of Famous Dave's. The new Famous Dave's is 6,300 square feet and has approximately 325 seats. Approximately 110 staff members have been hired for the Mays Landing Famous Dave's. The restaurant provides an extensive array of catering services and offers a comprehensive take-out menu along with a full service bar.
Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que features hickory-smoked St. Louis-style ribs, Texas Beef Brisket, and Famous Dave's award-winning Rich & Sassy® BBQ sauce. Additionally, the menu offers barbeque and country roasted chicken, BBQ sandwiches, burgers and salads. Plus, the restaurant serves up such down home classics as made-from-scratch coleslaw, potato salad, Wilbur Beans, corn bread muffins and Famous Fries. Famous Dave's delectable homemade desserts include its award-winning bread pudding and hot fudge Kahlua brownie.
