The Toasted Yolk Café, one of Greater Houston's fastest-growing restaurant chains, will open a new Uptown location this month on the corner of Westheimer Road and Fountain View Drive down the street from The Galleria.
A fast-casual local restaurant chain serving chef-inspired takes on breakfast, brunch and lunch classics along with signature libations, The Toasted Yolk Café opens its eighth Houston-area location on Monday, Sept. 24, at 2711 Fountain View Drive.
"We are thrilled to open our newest restaurant at a central location where we can share our unique menu with inner-loopers, professionals on the go, Houston foodies and travelers from around the world," said Toasted Yolk co-founder Chris Milton. "This will be our first restaurant that's really inside the urban core of the city and we can't wait for you to try our food."
The first Toasted Yolk Café opened in 2010. Two self-described "morning people," co-founders Milton and Mathew DeMott, set out to provide a unique breakfast and lunch experience that was far superior to the limited options available to them at the time. The chain quickly grew to seven locations around Houston offering the same menu of fresh, mouth-watering breakfast and lunch items made with locally sourced ingredients and irreverent flair, including The Arnold, the Toasted Yolk's gonzo version of eggs benedict.
"We realized that most of our favorite foods were served before 3 p.m., so we created a restaurant that would serve the best versions of all of them," says Milton. "We use only the highest-quality ingredients and we make everything from scratch daily, including our sauces, dressings and soups of the day. We wanted to provide food so delicious that people come for breakfast and stay for lunch."
Food-lovers jumped at the chance, further enticed by delectable beverage options from the sumptuous caramel macchiato to the playful cranberry mimosa. Following the successful opening of its Uptown location, the chain is excited to bring quality breakfasts to more of Houston's neighborhoods in the near future.
Table reservations at the new restaurant are available now.
