Angry Crab Shack Opens New Location in El Paso
Angry Crab Shack has opened a new restaurant in El Paso, marking its second location in Texas.

Angry Crab Shack has launched its latest restaurant in El Paso, Texas, located at 7019 N. Mesa St. The opening event is scheduled for July 10, starting at 4 p.m., and will feature a series of community-focused activities. This marks the second Angry Crab Shack location in Texas, following its Atascocita branch, as part of the company's strategic expansion in key U.S. markets.
The El Paso location will offer the same menu items as other Angry Crab Shack restaurants, including live Maine Lobsters and Pacific Northwest Dungeness Crab, which are displayed in an in-house tank. The restaurant is known for its customizable seafood boils and family-style dining experience.
The grand opening event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by El Paso Mayor Renard Johnson and other local leaders. Additionally, a spicy wing eating contest will take place between the El Paso Police and Fire Departments, with each team receiving a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice. Other activities include raffle giveaways, with a 65-inch TV as the grand prize, and a prize wheel offering Angry Crab Shack merchandise and gift cards. A balloon artist and a live DJ will provide family-friendly entertainment.
The opening of the El Paso restaurant brings the total number of Angry Crab Shack locations to 24 nationwide.
