Taco Bell and HISPANIC Magazine Launch Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest for High School Students |

Taco Bell® and HISPANIC Magazine are launching a national contest asking high school students to recognize the contributions Hispanic people have made to American culture. |
The Taco Bell® Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest invites youth in grades nine through 12 to describe in 500 words or less why Hispanic heritage is important to everyone. The winner will be announced in HISPANIC Magazine and awarded a $1,000 educational scholarship from Taco Bell.
"Taco Bell and HISPANIC Magazine developed this contest to encourage teens to celebrate the positive impact Hispanic Americans have made in our country," said Greg Creed, chief marketing officer, Taco Bell Corp.
HISPANIC Magazine's editorial staff will judge all essays based on clarity of expression, grammar and creativity. Entries should be mailed to the Taco Bell® Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest, c/o HISPANIC Magazine at 999 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 600 in Coral Gables, FL 33134.
