Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant Group and Harrah's Entertainment Announce Execution of Lease in New Orleans

The restaurant is planned for approximately 11,000 square feet with a working brewery and outdoor patio seating. Allen Corey, CEO stated: "We believe New Orleans represents an outstanding market for our concept, and we are pleased that it has been selected as the first location in our mutual intent with Harrah's to develop multiple sites. We anticipate opening this restaurant in the second half of 2004."
The lease agreement represents the first tenant for the proposed Fulton Street development site. "We are pleased to be moving forward on bringing Fulton Street back into commerce. Gordon Biersch will add another quality restaurant experience to downtown New Orleans," said Anthony Sanfilippo, President of the Western Division for Harrah's Entertainment.
Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants offer a sophisticated casual dining setting serving premium quality food and authentic handcrafted German lagers.
