Largest McAlister’s Deli Franchisee, The Saxton Group, Acquires Georgetown, Texas Location with Additional Austin Area Development to Follow
The Saxton Group, the largest McAlister's Deli franchisee, welcomes McAlister's Deli of Georgetown to its restaurant family. The acquisition makes for a total of 58 McAlister's Deli locations that are owned and operated by The Saxton Group.
The Saxton Group, the largest McAlister’s Deli franchisee, welcomes McAlister’s Deli of Georgetown to its restaurant family. The acquisition makes for a total of 58 McAlister’s Deli locations that are owned and operated by The Saxton Group.
Though new to The Saxton Group, the store has been operating since 2011 under the management of McAlister’s Corporation. By acquiring the location, The Saxton Group promises to bring Georgetown customers the same commitment to genuine hospitality found at all of their McAlister’s locations.
Adam Saxton, Vice President of Dallas based The Saxton Group, said, “We are excited to own and operate McAlister’s Deli of Georgetown. It’s our first McAlister’s in the Austin area. Even more exciting is the potential to grown the brand in the greater Austin area. We see immediate opportunity to bring our Famous Sweet Tea to more customers in the region and have already started searching potential new locations.”
Along with the procurement of this new store, The Saxton Group has signed an Area Development Agreement with McAlister’s Corporation with the exclusive rights to grow the McAlister’s brand in Austin and surrounding counties. The franchisee plans to add at least five new McAlister’s Deli locations to the market over the next few years with hopes to open the first of those new locations in 2015.
