    Roseville, CA-based THE BEACH HUT DELI (founded 1981) has increased by 4 units, from 32 to 36 (13% growth).  These fast casual sandwich shops are open for lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person price range.  Beer and wine are served and seating is for around 60.  Catering, delivery and online ordering services are available.  Locations trade in CA and NV.

    California-based THE HUMMUS FACTORY has increased by 1 unit, from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  This is a fast casual Mediterranean concept, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $6-$15+, serving beer and wine.  Seating is for about 60.  Catering is available.  All locations are in CA.

    MOUNTAIN MIKE'S PIZZA of Hayward, CA (founded 1978) has increased by 6 units, from 151 to 157 (4% growth).  These are fast casual restaurants with seating for around 50.  Beer and wine are served.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $4-$12+.  Catering, delivery and online ordering are offered.  Locations are franchised and are in CA, NV, OR and UT.

    Detroit, MI-based BANGKOK CUISINE (founded 1983) has increased by 3 units, from 8 to 11 (38% growth).  These family/casual Thai restaurants are open for lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person check average.  The restaurants serve beer and wine and seat around 100.  Catering and delivery services are available.  All the locations are in MI.

    SCOTTY'S BREWHOUSE of Indianola, IN (founded 1996) has increased by 2 units, from 7 to 9 (28% growth).  These are family/casual restaurants with full bar and seating for around 200.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $8-$20+.  Catering and banquet services are available.  All locations are in IN.

    CICCIO'S RESTAURANT GROUP of Tampa, FL has increased by 2 units, from 6 to 8 (33% growth) adding a new concept called Fresh Kitchen and also adding a third unit of Ciccio’s Cali.  These are family/casual restaurants with full bar and seating for around 200.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $8-$20+.  All locations are in FL.

    Nashville, TN-based LOGAN'S ROADHOUSE (founded 1991) has increased by 1 unit, from 259 to 260 (1% growth).  The restaurants are family/casual, serving American cuisine.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  Locations have full bar service and seating for about 250.  Catering and online ordering options are available.  Trading areas are AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV.  Ten percent of the restaurants are franchised.  We last featured this company on 11/5/13 (3% growth).

    Beverly Hills, CA-based FATBURGER (founded 1952) has increased by 31 units, from 125 to 156 (25% growth) and entered into CO, HI, MB, MI, NY, and ON.  The restaurants are fast casual, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $4-$12+, with seating for about 50.  Drive-thru and online ordering options are available.  Locations are franchised and trade in AB, AZ, BC, CA, CO, HI, MB, MD, MI, NJ, NV, NY, ON, SK, WA, Asia, and the Middle East.  We wrote about this concept on 11/19/13 (12% growth).
