    With 10 existing locations in Colorado, Schlotzsky’s has established solid brand recognition and reputation in the health-conscious state. Aiming to replicate the same success with additional locations throughout the state, company plans call for 15 signed franchise deals in the city of Denver and an additional 30 signed deals in the Denver metro area by the end of 2014, adding to the roster of over 350 locations worldwide.

    “The Denver market has already cultivated a loyal fan following and a strong brand reputation as consumers demand more convenient, fresh food options,” said David Wheeler, Vice President of Franchise Development at Schlotzsky’s. “We anticipate the same great success we’ve seen across Colorado in this targeted region of the state.”

    The new Schlotzsky’s locations in Denver will feature the brand’s “Lotz Better” restaurant design complete with vibrant colors, playful slogans, contemporary furniture and artwork, and co-branding opportunities with sister companies, Cinnabon and Carvel to offer franchise partners multiple streams of revenue under one roof.

    “We look forward to growing our presence with qualified franchise partners who have keen business acumen, strong commitment to their community and a shared passion to provide a quality products, to join us in continued growth in the Denver area,” added Wheeler.

    Development plans in the Denver area are a part of Schlotzsky’s strategic growth initiatives across the nation. The fast casual chain will continue momentum by aggressively targeting markets in their home state, Texas, and markets across the country such as Oklahoma City, Tulsa, St. Louis and Kansas City.
