    Cabot, AR-based PIZZA PRO (founded 1985) has increased by 3 units, from 466 to 469 (1% growth).  These quick serve pizzerias are open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Beer is served and limited seating is available.  Catering, delivery and drive-thru services are available.  Stores are franchised and trade in AL, AR, CO, GA, IL, KY, LA, MO, MS, MT, NC, NM, OK, SC, TN, and TX.

    Prairie Du Sac, WI-based CULVER'S FROZEN CUSTARD & BUTTERBURGERS (founded 1984) has increased by 42 units, from 461 to 503 (9% growth) and entered into FL, ID, and SC.  This fast casual burger concept is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 90.  Drive-thru service is available.  Locations are franchised and trade in AZ, CO, FL, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WI, and WY.

    Emerging and Re-emerging Concepts

    Concepts with 20 units or less who grew by at least 2 units.

    Miami, FL-based GRILLIT (OTC: GRLT; founded 2011) has increased by 2 units, from 2 to 4 (100% growth) and entered into KY and TN.  This fast casual chicken concept is open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $6-15+, with seating for around 60.  Catering and delivery options are available.  Locations are franchised and trade in FL, KY, and TN.

    Orlando, FL-based NATURE'S TABLE CAFE (founded 1977) has increased by 1 unit, from 72 to 73 (1% growth) and entered into DC.  The restaurants are fast casual, serving American cuisine.  Units seat about 40 and offer catering and online ordering services.  The restaurants are franchised and trade in CA, CO, DC, FL,GA, MD, OK, TN, TX, and VA.  We last featured this concept on 2/5/13 (4% growth).

    Cheshire, CT-based WAYBACK BURGERS (founded 1991) has increased by 10 units, from 68 to 78 (15% growth) and entered into CO, MN, TX, and VA.  This fast casual burger concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 60.  Catering and online ordering services are available.  All stores are franchised and trade in CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, and VA.  We last wrote about this concept on 8/13/13 (39% growth).

    West Palm Beach, FL-based HURRICANE GRILL & WINGS(founded 1995) has increased by 4 units, from 56 to 60 (7% growth) and entered into IA.  This family/casual concept specializes in chicken and serves other American cuisine.  The restaurants have full bar and seat about 100.  Catering is available.  Locations are franchised and trade in AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NY, and TX.  We featured this concept on 4/2/13 (13% growth) and on 12/3/13 (10% growth).
