The New York City Restaurant Group (NYCRG) announces that its iconic Chelsea restaurant, IL Bastardo, is getting a facelift and a new name. On April 8th, IL Bastardo will become the fourth  restaurant in NYC, continuing to feature the iconic IL Bastardo brunch parties on weekends. Moving forward, weekend brunch will be known as the IL Bastardo Brunch at Bocca di Bacco.

Bocca di Bacco has not only become a well-known restaurant to New Yorkers, but also a popular destination for tourists. Known for its exquisite Italian fare, intimate ambiance, incomparable hospitality and robust wine selection, NYCRG is responding to the popular demand of its patrons by opening this fourth location. The restaurants are now located in Chelsea, the Theater District, Hell's Kitchen and this latest addition to 7th Avenue.

This particular location is best known for its large-scale and outlandish brunch and will remain a hotspot for weekend revelry and great food. The IL Bastardo Brunch at Bocca di Bacco will remain exactly the same to accommodate the many New Yorkers who have made it a weekend ritual. Under the new restaurant name, the restaurant will continue to offer up the highest quality of food and hospitality, only now with an enhanced décor and revamped lunch and dinner menus. When you're in the heart of Chelsea, this is the ideal spot to grab a drink at the bar or enjoy a seated meal.

This newest Bocca di Bacco location offers a cozy, inviting and sexy setting with exposed brick walls, wood-beam ceilings, black granite bar and an Enomatic wine-dispensing system. With seating for more than 350 people, many of them often A-list celebrities, this location is perfect for a true New York night on the town – authentic cuisine, beautiful atmosphere and stars dining among the crowd.

Passionate about cooking flavorful Italian dishes, Executive Chef Kristin Sollenne centers the menu on modern Italian dishes infused with seasonality.

"I focus on rich, bold flavors using fresh herbs and seasonal produce, meat, poultry & seafood," says Sollenne. "Simplicity makes an impact. More than anything, we want diners to come away feeling satisfied, full and content after a good, authentic Italian meal in the heart of New York City."

The Bocca di Bacco brand is also well known for its one-of-a-kind wine collection and this new location will be no different. Offering more than 300 unique selections from an all-Italian wine list, Bocca di Bacco truly has something for everyone.
