“Yogurt lovers have given our first New York City locations an amazing reception, and we are confident that will continue with these two locations.”
Two years ago, Yogurtland announced plans for dozens of the locations in the Tri-State area and the company is opening both company-owned and franchise locations.
Working with exclusive broker Gluck & Company Realty, Yogurtland is targeting 1,000 – 1,400 square foot locations with strong pedestrian traffic and located in neighborhoods with families, schools and businesses.
"Yogurtland’s healthy and delicious yogurt and community-minded focus make them the No. 1 consumer choice for frozen yogurt,” said Cindy Gluck, president of Gluck & Company Realty. “We are excited to add these two locations to Yogurtland’s roster and bring the brand to more Manhattan customers.”
According to Jack Wasserman of Corner Realty that owns the 358 7th Avenue building, Yogurtland offers an ideal complement to the restaurants in the area.
“Yogurtland has quickly become a winner in New York, and we are happy to have Yogurtland as a tenant. We expect this location will do very well,” said Wasserman.
Yogurtland currently has more than 200 locations in the United States, Australia, Mexico, Guam and Venezuela. The company opened its first location in Fullerton, California, in 2006, and quickly popularized the self-serve frozen yogurt concept by offering the industry’s best quality frozen yogurt served with a wide array of premium, popular toppings in a friendly, clean environment.
Yogurtland is aggressively expanding throughout the United States as well as internationally. The company is actively seeking qualified franchisees throughout the U.S. and for international expansion.
