Quaker Steak & Lube announced today that it is on track to open 17 new restaurants in 2013 in Texas, South Dakota, South Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Florida, among other states.
Fueling this announcement, is the recent grand opening of the company's newest corporate Quaker Steak & Lube® restaurant in Plano, Texas, with additional restaurants in Medina, Ohio and Columbia, S.C. expected to open in the first quarter of the year.

The company experienced significant growth in 2012, with 11 restaurant openings, a 22 percent increase from the previous year and a 13 percent increase in system wide revenues. The company has nearly 60 locations to date, and began its Texas Takeover with three corporate openings in Waco, Carrolton and Plano.
