Menu Price Freeze Thru 2012 Announced By Steak 'n Shake

Steak 'n Shake, the restaurant industry's longest established brand in the premium burger and milkshake segment, announced it will not raise its menu prices in 2012.

To celebrate its devotion to providing honest and highest value to our loyal consumers, anyone who purchases a sandwich with fries may order a free legendary Orange Freeze, beginning today through January 5. 

Sardar Biglari, Chairman and CEO of Steak n Shake, commented: "Steak 'n Shake has an extremely strong value proposition that resonates with consumers." Mr. Biglari added, "During 2012, we have no intention of raising menu prices, especially because we are attempting to insulate our customers from inflation while continuing to provide the finest in burgers and shakes."

To offset energy and other commodity costs, many restaurant chains have opted to raise menu prices. But…not Steak 'n Shake. On the contrary, the company will thank its loyal customers by refusing to pass along higher prices.

Steak 'n Shake's menu prices are the same across the country, from the Original Double Cheese Steakburger 'n fries for $3.99 to the hand-dipped real-milk classic flavor milkshakes for $2.99. Steak n Shake also continues to provide value throughout the week with its everyday 4 Meals Under $ 4 menu, weekday 1/2 Price Happy Hour from 2–4 p.m. and a.m., Kids Eat Free on the weekend, and $3.99 All You Can Eat Pancakes during breakfast.
