Jersey City's Newport Centre is Home to Newest Johnny Rockets Restaurant

 Johnny Rockets will celebrate the grand opening of its newest restaurant in Jersey City's Newport Centre Mall, next week.  Franchise Owner Bill White is introducing the only full-service, sit-down restaurant in the Centre with four days of fun events, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 10, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The day will also include local rock & roll lookalikes and an invitation for guests to dress like their favorite rock & roll icons. Everyone who arrives in costume will receive a free sodapop and the chance to win a Johnny Rockets Gift Card. A Grand Prize will also be available to all attendees through a raffle.

"I'm really excited to open this particular restaurant," said White, who also owns seven other Johnny Rockets in the Tri-State area.  "Newport Centre Mall is a hub for shoppers and a shortcut for many commuters. Our upbeat atmosphere and made-to-order menu items are appealing options for the mall's diverse clientele, whether they want a pleasant sit-down dining experience or a quick bite to go on their commute or shopping trip."

Other grand opening events include:

• "Hula Ring Rally, from 4:-- p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, November 11, with the winner receiving a $50 Johnny Rockets Gift Card.
• "Tweet for a Treat," all day, Saturday, November 12. Anyone who comes to Johnny Rockets and shows that they have posted about the opening on Twitter will receive a Free Float or order of American Fries.
• "Show Us Your Shake," all day, Sunday, November 13. Whenever someone gets up to dance with the crew, they receive a free chocolate, vanilla or strawberry shake.

Newport Centre Mall, Hudson County's premier shopping destination, is conveniently located near the Newport PATH Train and Jersey City's light rail. Situated on the Hudson River, the mall overlooks the Manhattan skyline and sits within Jersey City's community of Newport, featuring retail, residential, office and entertainment facilities. The new Johnny Rockets joins 15 eateries in the 1,000-seat food court on the third floor of the mall.

The restaurant is White's eighth Johnny Rockets in the New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey areas, including the recently opened South Street Seaport location in New York City. The new Johnny Rockets is located at 30 Mall Drive West in Jersey City and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., daily.
