Dickey's Barbecue Opens First Ohio Location
Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. opened its first location in Ohio this past Saturday, September 24, in Delaware at 820 Sunbury Road under the direction of local franchisee, William Bridges.
"What I love most about Dickey's is that it is award-winning Texas Barbecue and at a price anyone can afford," said Bridges. "Ohio needs a barbecue option that also provides fast service and quality food."
This is the first location for Ohio and the first Dickey's Barbecue franchise opportunity for Bridges.
"It's exciting to open the doors to my own restaurant after months of hard work. The Delaware community of Ohio is a perfect fit for the family-friendly environment and I look forward to interacting with the customers on a daily basis," said Bridges.
Dickey's holds a 46 percent growth rate with a goal of 200 stores by the year's end and there are currently 174 locations in 35 states.
"We are excited about opening our first location in Ohio. Barbecue is a staple in this area and we look forward to growing the Dickey's presence in the community," said Roland Dickey, Jr., President of DBRI.
