Boston Market Names New Chief Administrative Officer

Boston Market announced today that J. Randal “Randy” Miller has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer for the national brand, an appointment that became effective on June 27. He has been with the company since 1994 and most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Boston Market Corporation.

During his 18-year tenure, Miller has been active in all aspects of legal representation, including helping the company manage successful Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings and two changes in corporate ownership. In addition to overseeing Boston Market’s legal group, Miller leads the design and construction, loss prevention, real estate and property administration departments. In 2010, he assumed leadership for the company’s human resources division, including those responsible for recruiting, compensation and benefits.

Before joining Boston Market, Miller spent seven years as an associate of Chicago-based law firm Rudnick & Wolfe, now DLA Piper. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science before obtaining his juris doctorate at Washington University School of Law.

Miller currently resides in Denver with his wife and four daughters.
