Top consumer trends in the restaurant industry will be the focus of the eighth edition of the Dean's Leadership Series, presented by the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (SHA) and the National Restaurant Association (NRA).
Leading restaurant executives will speak on sustainability, nutrition, design, and more during the panel discussion, titled "Insights from Innovators.” The panel will be the featured speaker session on Saturday, May 21, 2011, 12:00-1:30 p.m., the first day of the NRA Show 2011, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
“The restaurant industry is incredibly dynamic, and innovation is a critical element of success. Our panelists know how to keep up with changing consumer tastes while remaining true to their brand and vision,” said Michael D. Johnson, dean and E. M. Statler Professor at SHA.

SHA established the Dean’s Leadership Series in November 2007 as a platform for industry leaders to discuss the most important topics facing hospitality today. Previous editions of this series have attracted nearly 300 hospitality executives and members of the press in New York, Washington, Orlando, and Paris.
