Against current industry trends, Huddle House, the Atlanta-based 400-plus-unit family diner franchise, has continued to experience positive same store sales increases. In August, the brands franchised locations experienced a 4.6 percent increase while corporate stores hit 3.4 percent.
The increased sales numbers come on the heels of July’s success. July marked considerable growth for the 46-year-old chain, as it ended its fiscal July with a 3.5 percent same store sales increase in its franchised stores as well as a 2.1 percent increase in its company store division.
Huddle House executives are focused on maintaining increases and have relied on strong local store marketing as the backing for increased customer spend.
