  • Restaurant News Resource Don't panic as we are not referring to whale meat here but whale entertainment.

According to the Monterey County news last week, it would seem that an increase in the whale population in Monterey Bay is catching the attention of tourists. According to the news, tourists are arriving from all over the world to see this spectacle of whales and it means business is booming for the local businesses including the Restaurant industry in this location.

There is no doubt to witness the gathering of a group of blue whales is a site to see, and with the abundance of Krill it has served as the drawing feature to bring the whales in. There are certainly no complaints from either business owners or tourists as it is a most attractive event for all.

It has certainly lifted the spirits of all concerned and Roxanne Roark who is the manager of the Café Fina, says…"business has been fantastic…restaurant customers are really excited.

Although whale watching has always been an attraction to be found at Monterey Bay, it is more so now with this great influx of the whales.

I guess there is a lesson to be learned here. If restaurant owners can come up with something unique to draw the crowd then there is a chance for anyone's business to boom.
